摘    要:介绍了美国费城Drexel大学研究出来的多晶氧化铝包层蓝宝石光纤的两种制造方法。该种光纤可用于高温场合,如红外光的传输和高温传感器。

Abstract:Two manufacturing methods for sapphire optical waveguides with polycrystalline alumina cladding, developed by Drexel University in Philadelphia, USA are introduced. These waveguides are suitable for high temperature applications, such as for IR signal transmission and high temperature sensor applications.
