| 摘 要： | 一、汉字设计新需求的产生 随着时代的进步，人们对汉字的设计要求在改变．1949年开始．中国大陆曾对国内的汉字做过几次大规模的简化，汉字由平均16-19画减至11-18画。简化后的汉字字与字之间的笔画密度较以前更为接近，黑度也比较平均，便于书写和记忆，但却显得平淡，缺少了繁体汉字的神秘感和儒雅气质。香港和台湾没有实施文字改革，仍然使用繁体汉字，在港台的平面设计中，汉字也以繁体为主。
