改性白泥精制碳酸钙加填及施胶特性研究

摘    要:为了弄清碱回收白泥精制碳酸钙的基本特性对应用性能的影响,提高其加填性能和纸张施胶效果,采用淀粉-硬脂酸钠复合物对其进行了包覆改性。研究表明,当淀粉和硬脂酸钠对白泥用量分别为20%和5%时,改性白泥的比表面积降低了28.3%,Zeta电位降低了29%~56%,表面产生疏水性。通过对比商品碳酸钙、未改性白泥和改性白泥的应用性能发现,在26%加填量下,后者留着率分别高出前两者的25.5%和11.9%。加填量为42%时,白泥加填纸施胶性能较未改性白泥提高119%,接近商品碳酸钙水平。改性白泥加填纸各项强度指标最优,光学性能三者相近。

Abstract:In order to investigate the influence of fundamental properties of white lime in alkaline recovery on its application and improve the filling properties and sizing efficiency thereof,starch-lipid complex was prepared and coated on the surface of white lime.When the white lime was modified with 20% corn starch and 5% sodium stearate in dosage,it was observed 28.3% and 29%~56% reduction in specific surface area and Zeta potential respectively and surface hydrophobicity was gained.The retention rate of modified white lime under 26% filling load was 25.5% higher than that of commercial calcium carbonate and 11.9% higher than that of white lime.The sizing degree of modified white lime filled paper,which was quite close to that of commercial calcium carbonate,was 119% higher than that of unmodified white lime under 42% filling load.Besides,the strength properties of modified white lime filled paper were better than those of the two others while the optical properties were nearly the same.
