| Abstract: | Based on many experimental findings in a moving-bed standpipe, a novelhopper-valve is presented. The method of design, range of operation, method of monitoringand attention for its operation in industrial applications are also discussed in detail. The valveworks properly even for the condition that pressure fluctuates in the standpipe. |
