Application of transient surface wave in water diversion route survey

Transient surface wave survey is a geophysical prospecting method which has been developed very rapidly in recent years,and is applied in prospecting of overlying stratum thickness and base rock embedding depth etc.According to site geological conditions and survey intent,combined with geological information,the application of transient surface wave technique will bring us reliable and effective engineering geological survey data at less cost and high speed.The author introduced the application of transient surface wave method in survey of letan water diversion route of Guizhong(middle Guangxi) draught control project.The wave velocity interface out of this method generally tallies with the lithologic variance interface out of drill prospecting data,which proves the feasibility of settling these kinds of geological issues by this method.
