钢管超声波探伤通孔与刻槽校验灵敏度差异原因探究

摘    要:针对HFW焊管在线焊缝超声波探伤对点状裂纹和夹杂类缺陷敏感度不高现象,通过对比试验发现,在60%波高下,在线焊缝超声波探伤Φ3.2 mm竖通孔校验灵敏度高于10%壁厚刻槽校验灵敏度。研究表明,导致其异常的原因为探头相对钢管发生纵向偏转。通过对现场设备进行改进,解决了多年来焊管生产线在线焊缝探伤与离线焊缝探伤结果存在差异的问题,保证了焊管生产线产能的提高。

Abstract:In view of the low sensitivity to spot cracks and inclusion defects of HFW welded pipe on-line ultrasonic inspection, it is found through comparison test that the on-line ultrasonic inspection sensitivity gain value of Φ3.2 mm vertical hole is higher than that of 10% wall thickness groove inspection sensitivity gain value at 60% wave height. The reason for the abnormality is the longitudinal deflection of the probe relative to the steel pipe. By improving the field equipment, the problem of the difference between the on-line weld ultrasonic inspection and the off-line weld ultrasonic inspection in the welded pipe production line for many years has been solved, and the productivity of the welded pipe production line has been improved.
