世界遗产第二轮定期报告评述

与建立世界遗产名录一样,世界遗产定期报告是实施"世界遗产公约"的途径之一。亚太区第二轮定期报告建立了新的问卷内容框架、编制了新一轮的区域行动计划,将在未来6年内对亚太区各国遗产地产生广泛影响。讨论了在第二轮定期报告中加强我国参与的可能途径,包括组织程序与实施主体参与度、定期报告与日常监测的衔接、行动计划与保护管理方法的关系等,旨在探讨如何使第二轮定期报告与遗产地的管理保护建立紧密联系,对遗产地的保护管理起到促进作用。

Preliminary Comments of 2nd Cycle World Heritage Periodic Reporting

Similar to the establishment of the World Heritage List, the World Heritage Periodic Reporting is one of the fundamental ways to implement the World Heritage Convention. In 2 nd Cycle World Heritage Periodic Reporting exercise, a new questionnaire framework was established, and a new regional action plan has been prepared which will produce wide-ranging implications in the Asia region in the next six years. Three aspects of 2 nd Cycle World Heritage Periodic Reporting have been discussed, including the procedures and participation level, the questionnaire framework and relationship with routine monitoring, and the preparation of regional action planning. Some preliminary comments have been given, to make the Periodic Reporting more helpful in effective protection and management of World Heritage sites.
