开展盆地中心气研究开辟新的油气勘探领域

在全世界的非常规含气系统中,盆地中心气系统(BCGS)可能是经济价值较大的一种,美国每年的天然气总产量有15%来自盆地中心气系统.盆地中心气藏(BCGA)不同于常规圈闭气藏,其呈区域性分布,具有烃源区域性普遍成藏、储层处于气饱和状态和异常压力、缺失下倾的水接触面及渗透率低等特点.目前盆地中心气藏的勘探主要集中在北美地区.针对江汉探区面临的勘探形势,我们有必要修正勘探思路,在鄂西渝东区开辟新的勘探领域,重视盆地中心气藏(BCGA)的勘探,本文提出了研究建议.

INVESTIGATION OF BASIN-CENTERED GAS FOR SEARCHING FOR NEW TARGETS

In global unconventional gas-bearing systems, basin-centered gas system (BCGS) may be one of the most prolific accumulations. In America, 15% of annual natural gas yield comes from Basin Centered Gas Accumulatiom(BCGA). Different from conventional accumulations, the BCGA is characterized by regional distribution in adjacent source rocks, gas-saturated, abnormally pressured, and low permeability reservoirs and lack of any downdip water interface. At present, exploration activities for BCGA is mostly focused in North America. For our Jianghan exploration area, it is necessary to introduce the BCGS concept to the efforts in searching for new targets in the Western Hubei-Eastern Chongqing Belt. Some suggestions are proposed in this paper.
