Abstract:Based on the power transmission mechanism of dual active bridge topology,this paper proposes a push-pull type DC autotransformer(PPDAT)with high transmission efficiency and operational reliability by integrating the topology evolution law of DC autotransformer and modular multilevel converter,and analyzes the impact of the working mechanism,control strategy and system parameter on the operating characteristics of PPDAT.By adopting the four-winding transformer with specific topology and combining the push-pull operation mode,the specific four-winding transformer inside PPDAT can be replaced by two identical single-phase double-winding transformers,greatly simplifying the design difficulty of steady-state control strategy.Finally,PSCAD/EMTDC simulation shows the technical feasibility and effectiveness of PPDAT.
