With the development of Chinese economy, the architectural market is increasingl, becoming dynamic, and numerous representatives of excellent designs stand out of architecturc works. However, landmark buildings like China museum in Shanghai World Expo, which inherit traditional Chinese architectural culture, tends to be regarded as rare works. The idea of the roo design named swallow tail for Xiamen North Railway Station is aimed at illustrating the combinatior of Minnan local architectural culture and artistic characteristics. The connotation of this desigr could trigger meditation on the aesthetics of traditional Chinese architectures.
