| Abstract: | XNETi is a PCI network interface card designed for XNET interconnection network system. It can efficiently support the user level message passing , To reduce the software protocol overhead of message passing, XNETi implemented the functions of message passing error control and packet segmentation and re assembly in hardware logic. This paper discussed the implementation details of these functions . |
