Abstract:The preparation methods for modified starch,including oxidized starch,carboxymethyl starch and oxidative carboxymethyl starch,and its application as builder in detergent were reviewed with 28 refs.Modified starch as cheap and non-pollution builder would have extensive prospect in the detergent industry.
