| Abstract: | Basic properties of meta-aramid （PMIA） and its application in individual protection were introduced with an emphasis on current situation and development of PMIA for working wears in petroleum industry both at home and abroad, as well as the making process of PMIA fabric and working wears. Several suggestions were provided according to the processing problems in domestic petroleum industry working wears. |
