| Abstract: | Bamboo cracks appear during the drawing of 45 steel 6.5?mm wire rod.The chemical composition,mechanical property,macro and micro scopic structures as well as fracture of the wire rod are examined,observed and analyzed.The results show that recarburization at the local surface of wire rod is the main cause for bamboo cracking. |
