Mixing with heat and mass transfer in metallurgical systems

In the first part of this paper, general aspects of research needs in the field of heat and mass transfer in metallurgical systems are discussed as this field is important for innovative iron and steelmaking processes. In the second part, special research needs are mentioned which have to be considered under the view of the first part.
