| Abstract: | Various production routes of methyl isobutyl ketone are summarized.The three process routes of the production of methyl isobutyl ketone(MIBK) are introduced.The three-step process,one-step process and catalytic distillation process are described and compared and applications of MIBK to different industrial sectors are presented and analysed. |
