Abstract:This paper develops a mathematical model for geometric construction of the major cutting edge of a vertically inserted ball nose end mill,with which the setting parameters for machining the inserted blade sink on the tool body,radius of the inserted blade and distribution of the geometric angles along the cutting edge of the mill will be calculated
