New Process for Retaining and Protecting of Foundation Excavation with Short Soil Nailing Diaphragm

Short soil nailing diaphragm is an invention patent authorized in recent years,it is a new method of retaining and protecting of foundation excavation which is different from the method of soil nailing wall.The modeling and calculation for the patent technique are introduced.Through the comparison between short soil nailing disphragm and soil nail wall,it is found that the said method has obvious advantages in the retaining and protecting of deep foundation excavation based on the example of engineering project.Owing to the advantages such as the mature theory,simple calculation,and in a good combination with soil nailing wall technique,it has been applied in more than one hundred engineering projects and obtained the well social and economic profits.
