助熔剂法制备硼酸铝晶须

摘    要:以Al(OH)3和H3BO3为原料,分别以MnO2、Fe2O3为助熔剂制备硼酸铝晶须,研究助熔剂对晶须形貌的影响。研究发现,在1350℃煅烧6h,试样的物相为硼酸铝(9Al2O3·2B2O3)。以MnO2为助熔剂的试样晶须的直径为1μm~6μm,长径比较小;以Fe2O3为助熔剂的试样晶须的直径为0.2μm~1μm,长径比〉10。

Abstract:The aluminum borate whiskers were prepared using MnO2 or Fe2O3 as flux,with Al(OH)3 and H3BO3 as raw materials.The effects of flux on whiskers feature were studied.The aluminum borate phase was obtained by heating samples at 1350℃ for 6h.The whiskers were obtained with a little aspect ratio(about 1–6μm in diameter) using MnO2 as fusing agent.The whiskers were obtained with an aspect ratio >10(about 0.2–1 μm in diameter) using Fe2O3 as fusing agent.
