| Abstract: | It can be found that combining the limit equilibrium slice method with finite dement method is an important tendency in slope stability analysis. The theory and characters of the limit equilibrium slice method and the shear strength reduction（SSR） FEM used in slope stability analysis have been studied by comparison analysis in this article. Therefore, based on the approximately real stress field got from FEM, the minimal safety factor and corresponding position of critical shde surface can be got automaticly using finite element method . |
