CHARACTERISTICS OF TUYERE COKE AND BF OPERATION

In order to clear about the deterioration state of tuyere coke, a tuyere coke sampler(TCS) was used to take a three-meter-long coke sample from the tuyere plane along radial direction when the BF was on regular maintenance. The property of the tuyere coke was determined in six different parts. The deterioration mechanism of the tuyere coke and the relationship between the tuyere coke property and the BF operation were discussed.The deepth of the raceway,the theoretical combustion temperature and the content of the first iron in the tuyere area were analyzed as well.
