Abstract:Porous carbon was obtained by high-temperature annealing treatment and KOH activation with lotus leaf stems as a raw material.Using the porous carbon as a carrier material for sulfur,a C/S positive electrode material was finally obtained.The target products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD),thermogravimetry(TG),BET analysis and Raman spectroscopy.The structure and morphology of the C/S positive electrode materials were studied.The electrochemical testing was carried out using the C/S as a positive electrode material of lithium-sulfur batteries.The result shows that C/S positive electrode has excellent electrochemical performance.At a current density of 0.1 C(1 C=1672 mA·g-1),the specific capacity of the C/S positive electrode reaches 847 mA·h·g-1 after 200 cycles.At a current density of 0.5 C,the specific capacity of the C/S positive electrode reaches 690 mA·h·g-1 after 500 cycles.Meanwhile,during the rate performance test of the C/S positive electrode,its specific capacities are 1067 and 417 mA·h·g-1 at current densities of 0.1 C and 5 C,respectively.Besides,when the current density is restored to0.1 C,the specific capacity can be restored to 939 mA·h·g-1,indicating that the C/S positive electrode has good rate performance.Therefore,the prepared C/S positive electrode has wide application prospect.
