| Abstract: | The EDL generator in XPXN Hydroelectric Plant is a high-speed large horizontal hydro-generator with rated capacity of 48 MVA and rated speed of 500 r/min.Research and application in the field of high-speed large horizontal hydro-generator had been carried out ahead of time overseas,therefore the foreign manufacturers have more mature technology and achievements.In contrast,the achievements and related data of high-speed large horizontal hydro-generator in China is lacking.This paper summarizes the structure of main components of EDL generator,the issues in the research stage and the special attention are proposed,which can be used as a reference for structural design of high-speed large horizontal hydro-generator for domestic in the future. |
