Abstract:Through the simulation of the industrial dust with ultra fine micron level powder,the dust removal capability of high gravity rotating packed bed was studied in the experiment.The dust removal effect was investigated under different gas flow qG,liquid flow qL,rotating speed n and the number of axial plane mesh nm.The experimental results indicate that the appropriate operational conditions are as follows: qG= 600 m3/h,qL﹥0.6 m3/h,N=1 400 r/min,and nm=3,total efficiency is all above 97%;qG = 800 m3/h,qL= 1.0 m3/h,N=1400 r/min,and nm =3,the total pressure drop of the equipment is below 490 Pa.The result shows that high gravity rotating packed bed is of the characteristics of high removal dust efficiency and low resistance,so it has high value to be developed.
