| Abstract: | We give a simple general formula for the total angular dispersion due to multiple arbitrary dispersive elements in a series. It is simply the sum of the individual elements' angular dispersions but with each divided by the total spatial magnification afterward (or, equivalently, multiplied by the total angular magnification afterward). |
