| Abstract: | The paper discusses several subsoils treatment methods for multi-level buildings in collapsible loess areas where garbage fills(pits etc)are numerous.Examples of effective use of down-hoie compaction piles with enlarged bearing ends in treating garbage fills areas are given.In the meanwhile the importance of leakage and infiltration prevention around buildings is emphasized. |
