| Abstract: | The characteristics of phase-shifted fiber Bragg grating are analyzed by use of transfer matrix formulation and the theoretical expression of reflectivity is p resented. The influences of magnitude and location of the phase-shift region an d the parameters of a grating on the narrow transmission peak in reflection spec tra of the grating are discussed. |
