| Abstract: | A novel dynamic equivalent circuit for separate excited dircet current electric machine(DCEM) was structured in this article. The electrical and mechanical equations were unified by introducing two controlled voltage sources to this new circuit. The dynamic circuit was generalized to other types of DCEM such as parallel, serial, and compound excitation meodes. This equivalent circuit is also able to be used to simulate and control dynamic behaviors of direct current electric machines. |
