Optical Waveguides for Modern Radar System Applications |

| Abstract: | Optical waveguides for modern radar system applications are presented. Their fundamental properties and design considerations are described including their physical and transmission characteristics. The types of optical waveguides are outlined, followed by a discussion of commonly used optical coupling techniques and waveguide materials. Finally, the future directions for the use of optical waveguides in modern radar systems are forecasted. |
