| Abstract: | The influence of the size of the de-jitter buffer of a receiving router and of the network load on the transmission quality of voice traffic is investigated by means of simulation modeling. The optimal size of the de-jitter buffer that supports an acceptable level of loss of voice packets and a propagation time of the voice signal that corresponds to accepted standards is determined. |
