| Abstract: | The exergy loss on the tube side of heat exchanger is analyzed by applying thermodynamics principles and transfer theories,and the relationship between exergy cost and fluid velocity is studied A solvable equation for optimum fluid velocity corresponding to the minimum exergy cost is established to discuss on the problem of selection of proper velocity of fluid in the tube side of heat exchanger |
