Analysis on the technology of rigid-flex PCB window

Rigid-flex PCB was only applied to aeronautics,astronautics and military products previously.Later,it is promoted to medical appliances,industry control and high-end consumer electronic products.The crucial point of the Rigid-flex PCB technology is the window manufacture.Based on the stack-up structure,this paper probes into the window manufacture technology and introduces several manufacture methods as follow: through window method,copper foil etching method,filling up method,pro and con side depth control method,laser cutting method and adhesive resist method.
