Abstract:The bayonet velocity is an important parameter for projectile loading,which has a greater influence on the consistency of projectile bayonet,and then affects the firing accuracy of the gun.A test method of projectile bayonet velocity based on laser displacement sensors was proposed,and the test method was tested and validated according to the existing test bench of automatic ammunition loading device.The laser displacement sensor was used to measure the displacement changes of the projectile at 30°,45° and 60° firing angles.The displacement-time curve of the projectile in the barrel was differentiated by Matlab software to obtain the velocity-time curve of the projectile bayonet period.The velocity suddenly dropped to zero where the projectile reached the position of the bayonet,and the bayonet velocity could be obtained according to the velocity change of the projectile.The error analysis of the measured bayonet velocity shows that the method can be used to measure the bayonet velocity of projectiles and has high accuracy.
