| Abstract: | The RCC-M, “Règles de Conception et de Construction des Matériels Mècaniques des Ilots Nucléaires PWR”, or in English, “Design and Construction Rules for the Mechanical Components of PWR Nuclear Islands”, gathers within one set of rules all design and construction practices relating to the mechanical components of French PWR nuclear islands. This paper is a presentation of the RCC-M. Throughout this presentation the philosophy of the RCC-M will be compared to that of the ASME Code — Section III — Division 1, and related Sections. |
