Improvement ＆ Optimization for Design Defects of Exit Coiling Facilities at Pickling Line

Existing problems of the exit coiling facilities of continuous pickling line designed by one company in Germany have been described in this paper. By means of the innovation for expanding-retracting system and auxiliary equipment, failure of expanding-retracting mandrel,, difficulty of strip entering, and problems like strip tail whipping strike the ear have been completely solved, which have realized the fault-free operation with long term.
