Optimization and Control of Cutoff Grades in Metal Open Pits under Market Economical Conditions

With the transformation of the national economic system,the national mineral product market is jointing to the international market,which has led to the fluctuation of the mineral product price with the change of market's supply-demand relationship under such circumstances,there exists a challenge in metal open pits of how to effectively control the cutoff grades of mining so as to obtain the greatest economic results.For this,a optimization model for cutoff grades which are related to the whole metal production process including mining,mineral processing and metallurgy is established and the control strategies for cutoff grades under different conditions are discussed.
