| Abstract: | Followed 7 nonvocal patients with multiple handicaps in individual therapy for periods ranging from 1 to 10 yrs. Ss had been evaluated and their communication disabilities had been diagnosed as either anarthria or dysarthria. Several communication devices have been utilized in keeping with the particular ability of the S in question. The response of both anarthric and dysarthric Ss to therapeutic intervention by means of electronic devices generally has been positive.
