添加镁橄榄石颗粒对镁质中间包涂料性能的影响

摘    要:为了降低中间包用耐火材料的成本并节约资源,以马钢生产的市售镁质中间包涂料为基础,添加20%(w)的烧结或不烧镁橄榄石颗粒(3~1 mm)替代同粒度的烧结镁砂制成含镁橄榄石的镁质中间包涂料,并研究了该涂料经1 500℃保温3 h热处理后的常温物理性能、抗渣侵蚀性能和显微结构。结果表明:添加烧结镁橄榄石颗粒的中间包涂料的体积密度高于不添加镁橄榄石颗粒的,且显气孔率降低,常温抗折强度和耐压强度较不加镁橄榄石颗粒的略有降低;添加不烧镁橄榄石颗粒的体积密度和强度略低于不加镁橄榄石颗粒的;静态抗渣试验显示,无论是否含有镁橄榄石颗粒,三种中间包涂料均以渗透侵蚀为主,其抗渣侵蚀能力基本相当。

Abstract:This work aims at reducing the cost of refractories for tundish and saving energy.A forsterite-containing tundish coating was prepared on the basis of a commercially available magnesia tundish coating from Masteel by adding 20 mass% calcined or unburned forsterite particles (3-1 mm).The cold physical properties,slag resistance,and microstructure of the magnesia tundish coating containing forsterite particles were studied.The results show that the tundish coating with calcined forsterite particles has higher bulk density,lower apparent porosity,slightly lower cold modulus of rupture and cold crushing strength than that without forsterite particles;the bulk density and strength of the coating with unburned forsterite particles are slightly lower than those of the coating without forsterite particles;the static slag resistance test shows that the three tundish coatings have basically the same slag corrosion resistance whether containing forsterite particles or not;the permeation corrosion is dominant.
