New resin systems for high performance waterborne coatings

Restrictions on the emission of solvents have led to the search for environment-friendly coatings. Waterborne systems are an alternative to high solids and powder coatings. New single-component polyurethane dispersions are suitable for replacing many standard systems. A new generation of waterborne two-component polyurethane systems may be used for applications where high performance is expected.
