含钛物料护炉方法的探讨

摘    要:炉缸炉底异常侵蚀是影响高炉寿命的主要因素。目前,延长炉缸炉底寿命的主要措施有两个:一是改进炭砖质量,二是采用含钛物料护炉。若能把二者有机结合起来,将会大大延长高炉寿命。为此,作者设想把含钛物料以微粉添加剂形式加入炭砖配料中生产含钛复合炭砖。这种炭砖抗氧化性和抗铁水渗透性较好,而且在炭砖被侵蚀时能及时生成Ti(C、N)沉积物,阻滞碳的进一步溶解和铁水的侵入,对炉底炉缸有保护作用,可克服目前含钛物料护炉方法的一些弊端,有效利用宝贵的钛资源

Abstract:The principal factor affecting the blast furnace production campaign is assumed to be the abnormal erosion of the furnace hearth and furnace bottom up to date, there is no remedy but the following two measures one is to improve the quality of the carbon bricks and the other is using Ti containing material as the furnace burden. The farnace campaign will be greatly extended provided that those two measures are effectively combined in the practical operation. For this purpose the author conceived to add the Ti containing material to the ingredient of carbon bricks in the form of powder additive to produce Ti-containing composite carbon bricks. The bricks produced as such show better oxidation resistance and hot metal penetration resistance and can promptly generate Ti(C,N) precipitated material over the carbon brick to prevent carbon from further solution and against hot metal penetration as soon as the carbon brick is eroded, and thus both the furnace hearth and furnace bottom can be well protected. This method can overcome certain shortcomings existing in the present furnace protection methods which use Ti containing material and make good use of very precious source of titanium as well.
