| Abstract: | By analyzing a protective reuse architecture,Xintiandi Plaza(Shanghai),the paper explains its distinguished design ideal,different from that of regular conservation of historic block,and highlights its feature of protective commercial development retaining its appearance in such three aspects as completeness of appearance,authenticity of history and reality of life. |
