生物多样性数据的Web可视化

摘    要:生物多样性数据具有多源、异构、数据量大、信息冗杂不直观等特点,对其可视化可帮助科研工作者轻松直观深入的了解数据,发现知识,辅助其科学决策,具有重要的现实意义。可视化与具体的应用场景密切相关,本文针对三类具有不同类型和结构的生物多样性数据,利用HTML5技术开发了三种不同的Web可视化展示和分析方式,多视角、直观地展现了数据源及其内在规律,为领域科学家和保护区管理人员科学认识生物多样性数据提供了一种便利的手段。

Web Visualization of Biodiversity Data

Abstract:Biodiversity data have the characteristics of multiple sources, heterogeneous structures, large amounts, etc., which make it miscellaneous and not intuitive. Therefore, data visualization is of vital practical significance, because it can help researchers understand data, discover knowledge and make scientific decisions easily, intuitively and deeply. Data visualization is closely related to specific application scenarios, it is important to provide different solutions in accordance with different data types. In this paper, we developed three different kinds of web visualization solutions by HTML5 for presenting and analyzing three kinds of biodiversity data. These solutions can present the source data and its innate laws in all directions and perspectives efficiently, providing a convenient way to understand the data for scientists and reserve managers.
