摘    要:快照技术是实现在线热备份的重要技术手段,也是进行数据迁移和远程镜像的重要的技术组成.提出并实现了一种与操作系统平台无关的快照系统,通过在设定快照情况下以100-2000MB数据量进行COW操作和无快照情况下的写命令的完成时间,以及同LVM快照系统进行了快照创建时间延迟的比较,表明本文实现的快照系统在缩短快照创建延迟、处理写命令上具有更好的性能.

Abstract:Snapshot is a major technology for online hot backup,and an essential component of technology of data migration and remote mirror. This paper proposed a new design and implementation of platform independent Snapshot. The completion time of the COW operation under snapshot enabling was investigated in comparison with the write operation under snapshot disenabling with 100-2000MB throughput. Furthermore the snapshot creation time of the new approach is compared with that of LVM. The results show that in general the snapshot system presented in this paper can significantly reduce the delay resulted from the creating of snapshot, and thus has a better write performance.
