多波切仑柯夫振荡器的粒子模拟

摘    要:本文运用维相对论电磁模粒子模拟方法,对多波切仑柯夫振荡器进行模拟研究,模拟中考虑束波非线性相互作用。用实例分析两组结构参数的器件,得到与实验符合的结果,给出反映物理实质的清晰图象,以及器件性能与一些结构参数的依赖关系,并对之进行合理的解释。模拟表明:产生的微波在X波段,微波辐射效率达到25%,最大辐射功率为2.3GW。因此,粒子模拟方法可以作为多波切仑柯夫振荡器结构设计中一种方便经济的辅助工具。

Abstract:The Multiwave Cerenkov Generator (MWCG) is investigated with dimensional electromagnetic relativistic particle-in-Cell(PIC) simulation code. The nonlinear beam-wave interaction is considered in the code. Deep insights into the MWCG are demonstrated by simulations of two MWCGs configured differently. Some of the results agree well with ones from experiments. The features of parameters dependency are presented and reasonable explanation is put forward. The radiation is generated in X band with radiation efficiency up to 25% and the power level of 2. 3GW. Accordingly,particle simulation will be expected to serve as a convenient and economical means of MWCG design.
