| Abstract: | In the light of the current status of the high-rise buildings in China, analyzed the characteristics of the fire res-cue and safe evacuation of the high-rise buildings. The current status and the functions of the fire elevator applied to high-rises has been analyzed too.Also touched upon the installation of the fire elevator, its place and the amount needed in the building. |
