摘    要:3D感应测井仪利用垂直和水平电磁波来探测和确定驻留在薄的层状地层中的油气储量,而常规电阻率仪器只能测量水平方向电阻率,往往无法准确估算或忽略掉这类储层.

Abstract:3D Explorer induction instrument uses vertical and horizontal electromagnetic waves to find and quantify oil and gas reserves residing in thinly bedded formations,so reserves are often underestimated or overlooked by conventional resistivity tools which only measure horizontally.This is accomplished by utilizing the physical effect of macroscopic electrical anisotropy through a unique orthogonal transmitter-receiver configuration.The 3DEX resistivity measurements,combined with new petrophysical interpretation methods,can result in a more accurate shaly sand reservoir aracterization.
