真空转移系统中各种气体对光电阴极的影响

摘    要:论述了真空转移系统中各种气体对光电阴极灵敏度影响以及防止的方法。实验得出一氧化碳和水蒸地光电阴极灵敏度的损害最大。光电阴极由碱环境转移到无碱环境中,其光电灵敏度不受影响,而是残余气体分子撞击光电阴极表面,引起铯剥脱使得灵敏度下降。

Abstract:Effect of various gases in vacuum tranfer system on S 20 photocathode sensitivity was described.The experiment showed that CO and H 2O vapor damage the photocathode sensitivity seriously.However,when photocathode was transfered from alkali ambient to non-alkali ambient,there is no effect on its photosensitivity.The molecules of the residual gases beated on the surface of the photocathode,which resulted in the cesium denudation,thus caused the decay of the sensitivity.
