The large roller hearth furnace production line for annealing hot bearing races is designed as a rectangular and closed structure under the limit of the length of available shop. The hot bearing races from upsetter go into charging baskets, are heat treated and unloaded, then the empty baskets returned, all these are carried out automatically. The energy saving is obvious because of the hot loading. In the line, gas radiant tubes are used in heating section, and electric radiant tubes in the controlled temperature descending section and the spheroidizing section, so that the electric consumption is reduced.
