硅橡胶/有机改性蒙脱土纳米复合材料的性能研究

摘    要:用熔体插层法制备甲基乙烯基硅橡胶(MVQ)/有机改性蒙脱土(OMMT)纳米复合材料并研究其微观结构和性能。结果表明:OMMT改性剂疏水性从优到劣的顺序为I.44P,I.30P,Bengel434,I.44P和I.30P在MVQ中的分散性优于Bengel434;MVQ/OMMT纳米复合材料的物理性能和热稳定性从优到劣的顺序为MVQ/I.44P,MVQ/I.30P,MVQ/Bengel434纳米复合材料;添加40份I.44P的MVQ/I.44P纳米复合材料的100%定伸应力、拉伸强度和撕裂强度比纯胶有较大提高。

Abstract:Methyl vinyl silicone rubber / organic montmorillonite (MVQ / OMMT) nanocomposites were prepared by melt blending method. The effects of three kinds of organic modified montmorillonites with different hydrophilic properties on the mechanical properties and thermal stability of the composites were investigated. XRD and SEM results showed intercalated microstructure for nanocomposites, but dispersion of less hydrophilic organic montmorillonite, I.44P,is better than that for Bengel434 and I.30P in which agglomeration of OMMT occurs in the rubber matrix. The compatibility, dispersion, Mechanical properties and thermal stability of organic montmorillonite in silicone rubber going from I.44P to I.30P and Bengel434, respectively. When the content of OMMT reached 40 phr, the tensile strength and tear strength of the composites were increased by 270% and 980% respectively compared with pure rubber.
