| Abstract: | Impurities influence phase transition temperature and, for many materials, impurities are the main source of uncertainty in the realization of fixed points at high accuracy. The First Cryoscopic Constant Method to estimate the error due to impurities on fixed point temperatures is recommended and discussed. |
